They turned on the switch at about 2PM today on our photo-voltaic solar system. As a result, we generated nearly 2000 watt hours of electricity. Right now, alternative forms of energy are still short-term expensive (they pay off in the long run). So if you can't afford to create your own energy, you can still help by using less. -- Dave

  


Cisco Students - Exam Changes

This was sent to me in email from Cisco:

End of Life for CCNA v3.1 Curriculum and Certification Exams (English Version)

Cisco Networking Academy has announced the end-of-life dates for the English version of CCNA v3.1 and for the corresponding certification exams INTRO (640-821), ICND (640-811), and CCNA (640-801). The last day to create new student classes for CCNA v3.1 course 1 is March 31, 2008. The last day to create new student classes for CCNA v3.1 courses 2-4 is January 31, 2009. The Networking Academy Help Desk will continue to provide support until July 31, 2008 for CCNA v3.1 course 1 and until July 31, 2009 for courses 2-4.

The INTRO (640-821), ICND (640-811), and CCNA (640-801) certification exams will be available to Networking Academy students until July 31, 2009 to coincide with the availability of the CCNA v3.1 curriculum.
